Rome marathon success

A visit to Rome to visit the sites is a wonderful experience. The Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and the Vatican City are on many visitors list of things to see whilst they are in the ‘Eternal City’. Not many tourists decide to run a marathon around these sites.
Running just over 42 km (26 miles) is quite a challenge for anyone, but only 6 months ago Kate had never even ran a half marathon. She is now the possessor of a finisher’s medal in a full marathon. It just shows how with the right training and some determination anything is possible.
Kate has also been fundraising for the event with money going towards cancer research and Red Nose Day. So far over £750 has been raised and if you would like to contribute just visit www.Bmycharity.com/katecakes to donate online.
