First aid training course Trainer – Cory Jones is a qualified teacher, ecologist and mountain leader. He has worked as an educator for over fifteen years delivering courses across the UK. Previously he has managed Malham Tarn Field Centre, Lake District National Park Education Service and was Deputy Director at Sheffield Wildlife Trust.

Emergency First Aid
Interactive, hands on training of outstanding quality by HSE approved provider.
Day one covers First Responder skills; systems approach to injury assessment, CPR, skills to deal with a life threatening incidents when an experienced First Aider is not available. Syllabus covers the needs of the ‘Appointed Person’ in the workplace.
Day two puts these skills in real life contents, in urban and remote situations. Covers the needs of the outdoor national governing bodies for their instructor awards (suitable for ML, SPA, BCU, RYA, BOF, MIA, MIC etc).
These courses are certificated by Immediate Temporary Care, an HSE approved first aid training organisation.

A two day course designed for those who deliver training as part of their job, or those who are looking to develop their own training courses. This course will give you confidence and guidance to help you deliver effective, interactive training suitable to a range of peoples learning needs.

Risk assessment is statutory requirement for all of us. This one day course will provide a generic solution to all your risk assessment needs whether you are felling trees, guiding a walk in the hills, running an event for the public, or working with children.

Navigation for outdoor security and group leaders
Develop your map and compass skills. Outdoor exercises will be used to reinforce classroom learning and to test the participant’s abilities in the outdoors. The course will examine types and parts of a map, contours, topography, scale, orienting a map, determining bearings and distances, map grids.
Participants will work towards assessment for Bronze and Silver Awards for National Navigation Award Scheme which are validated to a national standard.

Facing your first school visit or are you wanting to develop an educational trail? Do you need to answer the following questions;
