Climbing sucesses, two peaks over 6000m ascended
Spectacular mountain ranges offer steep icy and rocky peaks for those looking for a challenging climbing adventure, in a pure and pristine landscape. In the magnificent Cordillera Real ther are lots of great high peaks which inlcude both Illamani (6438m) and Huayna Potosi (6088m). Both were sucessfully climbed by Cory and team with two weeks of each other. These are the highest peaks climbed by Cory and although not the most technical of summits they were both challenging. Illimani expecially due a 60 degree ice pitch near to the summit ridge.
