QCA Approved Outdoor First Aid Courses
Cory Jones Associates is working with ITC First Aid Ltd to offer you environment specific first aid training for students and teachers/instructors who are, or intend to, work with groups in the outdoor environment.
ITC First Aid is a recognised Awarding Body, accredited by Qualification and Curriculum Authority (QCA) that has approved Cory Jones Associates to deliver Outdoor First Aid courses. QCA has accredited the ITC Outdoor First Aid course to the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) at Level 2.
Candidates need to complete and pass both mandatory units to achieve the Outdoor First Aid qualification;
Unit 1 – OFA1 (J/500/4375) Outdoor First Aid Emergency Action
Unit 2 – OFA2 (L/500/4376) Outdoor First Aid Emergency Incident Management
(These are listed on the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) Learning Aims database (LAD) under section 96/97. Suitable for 16-18, 18+, 19+).
Our Outdoor First Aid courses are benchmarked against current National Occupational Standards, are well resourced, tailed to your specific needs, use modern training methods and are delivered by approved trainers.
ITC First Aid is approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) as a recognised First Aid provider as part of their First Aid Approvals & Monitoring Section (FAAMS). Approval number 1670/96.
