Trekking in the Karakoram, Pakistan Cory is heading off to Pakistan this summer. He will be working for Himalayan Kingdoms leading a trek to K2 Base Camp. At 250 miles long the Karakoram in Northern Pakistan is a glittering tangle of granite spires, ice-peaks and wild and savage glaciers. Its notable peaks in Pakistan are K2 and Broad Peak.
His group will fly to Islamabad and then take the breath taking Karakoram Highway to Skardu. From there a 14 day trek will lead up the Baltoro glacier gaining altitude to eventually reach Askole next to K2 Base Camp.
Anyone interested in taking part in this trek should contact Himalayan Kingdoms at www.himalayankingdoms.com
